Aisha Hinds is an American actress who is best known for playing roles in the television series The Shield and True Blood. Her versatility has been demonstrated in 2003 with her outstanding performances on TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit as well as 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. It was initially noticed because of her performance as Anna in 2005's film Assault on Precinct 13. Her appearance in the biographical film All the Way as the Women's Right activists Fannie Lou Hammer attracted Hind to the notice by the media. Hind was also praised for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman in WGN America's classic show, the drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 9-1-1 has been renewed for a new season with 20th Century Fox Television. Hind just wrapped filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that will be released in the middle of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj was an Army scientist who died on the 18th of March, 2017, and her mother Vrinda are both homemakers. Aditya is her brother and also a merchant navy engineer. Akhila Rai, Bachchan's elder brother, was a co-producer and wrote Dil Ka Rishta along with their mother. She attended Arya Vidya Mandir High School located in Mumbai the city where her family relocated. She finished her secondary education with Jai Hind College for a one year, before transferring to D.G. Ruparel College in Matunga where she was awarded a 90% score in the H.S.C. exams. The student spent the majority of her adolescence studying musical and classical dance. Her preferred subject was Zoology. Bachchan was a student of architecture when she was crowned Miss World in 1994. She was ushered into modeling's elite by winning the title. Her career was booming with PepsiCo Inc. and Vogue magazine along with a spokesmodel contract with L'Oreal Paris in 2003. She had a successful acting career through her appearances in Iruvar (1997 and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). Bachchan was thrust to the forefront of New Bollywood after both films challenged the conventional structure for Bollywood films of the time. With her heartbreaking portrayal as the lover who was smitten Paro of Devdas (2002) which was considered to be one of the most popular Bollywood film and the first film to screen during the Cannes Film Festival Bachchan cemented herself as the new Queen of Bollywood. In the following years, she was acknowledged for her part in Chokher (2003) the intense drama based off RabindranathTagore's novel. This year she was named the first Indian actress on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan was on screen in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance version to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. That's when Bachchan added her star-power and a beautiful face to her first major film in English. In 2006, she returned to Bollywood through the smash production Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story in English. The actress got married Abhishek Bachchan, a co-star of the film who is the son of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage has brought two of India's most prominent celebrities together.
